Extension Functions

Extensions are code (generally small pieces of software) that can be plugged into AV to modify, extend, or create additional functionality in AV.

Installation

When you create a Portfolio, it automatically includes some Extensions authored by AV. Subsequently, you may choose to install additional Extensions that are either authored by AV or by third-party developers (“3PDs”).

An example of an AV Extension is a Private Fund Capital Call Advanced Extension which facilitates entry of a private fund call with batch entry of multiple transactions with extra data that is specialized to call transactions.

Removal

Other than the Extensions authored by AV that are installed at the time that you create a Portfolio which may not be removed, you may remove an Extension at any time without effecting core AV functions.
