Layouts

Overview

Layouts allow you to customize the look and feel of AssetView through your control of the elements on dashboard pages. The default configuration defines a set of layouts. In Settings>Layouts, you may create, edit, and delete Layouts.

Creation

When creating a Layout, you:

1. Assign it a label (i.e. a friendly name);
2. Optionally assign it to a Group (to keep your Layouts organized);
3. Optionally assign it an Order (to control display of your Layouts);
4. Optionally give it a Description;
5. Assign it to a page or multiple pages; and
6. Add Features - pre-packaged widgets that present financial data, such as Rollup Profit Panel, in the form of lists and graphs.

Interactivity

1. You may hover on a segment of a pie graph to get more information.
2. You may double click on a pie graph segment or on a summary list item to get detailed information about the underlying accounts or assets.
