Share Lotting

Share lotting is supported for all Asset Classes and for all transactions including those that are Projected.

Lotting methods include:

1. FIFO: First In First Out;
2. HIFO: Highest In First Out;
3. LIFO: Last In First Out; and
4. Manual: set by you.

By tracking lots, AV is able to:

1. compute realized gains;
2. compute unrealized gains;
3. compute projected gains; and
4. assign income (e.g. dividends) and expenses (e.g. fees) to specific lots and compute asset performance by lot based on income and expense.
