Asset Pricing
Asset pricing is supplied by integrated sources or by you.
Automated Pricing
- US market public equity pricing and cryptocurrency pricing for many cryptocurrencies are automatically enabled and are typically delayed approximately 15 minutes from real-time pricing
- If you use Plaid as a Source to connect AssetView to your financial institutions, those institutions may also provide AssetView with pricing for positions you hold
Manual Pricing
- If a price is not supplied automatically or if you want to override the price provided automatically, you may choose to do so temporarily or permanently with a market price you set
- If the market price is being set by a source, then the market price om the asset dashboard will be shown in a grey font
- If you override the market price manually, the market price will be shown in a white font
Lot Specific Pricing
- You may set a price for an Asset or for each Lot within an asset
- An example of where lot level overrides are used frequently is for real estate investments where a single asset may be used to track performance of an LC that holds ownership in multiple properties, each of which is tracked as a Lot
